I'm a biologist. Specifically a fish taxonomist focusing on freshwater fishes of the US and South America. I have taxanomic and identification training in most major groups of organisms, with a focus on the southeastern US vertebrates and plants. I was an instructor of biology at Reinhardt University, where I taught organismal biology, general biology, and other zoology and field biology courses. I currently serve as Director of Conservation for the Southeastern Trust for Parks and Land.
