I'm the volunteer coordinator for the Gorge Refuge Stewards, a nonprofit that supports 3 National Wildlife Refuges in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. I used to be focused on birds, but through my job coordinating habitat restoration events, plants are gradually growing on me. I have a background in Biology and Environmental Science and I am blown away by how useful iNaturalist is as a tool for people without a science background to learn about the environment.
