I love native bees (I'm currently obsessed with bumble bees) and wild perennial plants (especially ones that are edible and medicinal for people and beneficial for pollinators). I received a MS in Environmental Sciences from DePaul with a focus on urban ecology. I'm currently a Biological Technician with the USGS, surveying for the Rusty Patched Bumble Bee, and an upcoming PhD student in Plant Biology & Conservation at Northwestern / the Chicago Botanic Garden.
