I'm the Invertebrate Wildlife Program Manager for Arizona Game and Fish Department. My primary interest and experience is with native snails of Arizona, specifically: springsnails (genus Pyrgulopsis and Tryonia), ambersnails (genus Oxyloma), and talussnails (genus Sonorella). I am also interested in tracking occurrences of mountainsnails (genus Oreohelix), woodlandsnails (genus Ashmunella), and the freshwater mussel called the California floater (genus Anodonta) in Arizona. I oversee several field projects that monitor and manage wild populations of native snails within Arizona, and I'm working with partner agencies and NGOs to develop and implement conservation agreements for several of those mollusks.
