I'm an accidental naturalist with attention surplus disorder. I love knowing the names (common and Latin) of species and want to create a community of people who are connected to and talking about the biodiversity around them. The LBA Woods project is a source of joy for me; this property was slated to be nearly completely bulldozed for 800 homes. Now, it is mostly City of Olympia parkland and forested upland habitat for hundreds of species.
