Ph.D. student majoring in conservation ecology; researcher in forest pests management; in Japan. I'm learning and training in taxonomy on plants, insects, and fungi for my own studies on iNaturalist.
I feel it's great to be able to share observations across borders and language barriers.

As a curator on iNaturalist, I constantly check and revise the scientific names, Japanese names, and taxonomy settings of mainly Japanese vascular plants. If you also have any other questions or messages, please feel free to tag me. I’ve studied taxonomy by self-taught almost all. So, please forgive me if I have made mistakes because of my lack of knowledge.
