Lil kingies at Keystone

Someone spotted another baby(?) Salish Sea king crab--the king crab formerly known as 'Puget?'--at the Keystone Jetty today. We are hoping more sightings can turn into some kind of recreational monitoring and identification program. 😆

Kingies at Keystone

In 2023 we saw up to eight(?) quite young E. cibarius all adorably hanging out on a boulder. As of 2024, they are gone from there, but new sightings suggest the possibility that one or more of them continues to inhabit the jetty! Please contribute more sightings, thoughts and info.
