Description: Robins are a large songbird and an early sign of spring. Adults have a hefty round body with a reddish orange breast and a brown back. The females have paler heads and breasts.

Habitat: Found in neighborhoods, parks, fields, and open woods.
Fun Facts: Robins flick their tails downward several times when they land. They are aggressive hunters and pull earthworms up from lawns and gardens.
