The Callippe Fritillary (Speyeria callippe) is a fritillary from North America.

On San Bruno Mountain 3

There are two major colonies of this butterfly on the San Bruno Mountains. The largest, which comprises nearly three-quarters of the Callippe population, is found on the Southeast Ridge; the other colony is found in the Guadalupe Hills. Larvae feed on Calfornia's Golden Violet (Viola pedunculata) only.
