The Banded Woodpecker (Picus miniaceus) is a species of bird in the Picidae family. It is found in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, and Thailand.

It is a common breeding resident in Singapore.

It inhabits forested areas.

This is a red woodpecker with olive back, yellow nape and barred underparts. The male has red ear coverts and a plain face, while the female lacks the red ear coverts and has white-spotted face.
