This has a BugGuide photo, but it seems to have been identified by range. Terrestrial isopod (Crustacea:Isopoda) atlas for Canada, Alaska, and the contiguous United States sounds really useful but doesn't appear to be online.
The GBIF records all seem to be eastern. Does it really occur in CA?
