Description 2

Evergreen shrub with flexible twigs; the leaves are alternate leaves and have scale-like stipules. The leaves are ovate to round in shape, dark green and puberulent adaxially with furrows along the veins and the margins rolled under. The abaxial side of the leaves is densely hairy. The leaves have small glands on the teeth. The Flowers are blue. We have a number of cultivars of Ceanothus impressus in the garden including Julia Phelps, Concha and Frosty Blue.
