Plant descriptions ³

Culm 0.8 - l, 2 m, quite robust. Leaves 10-20 mm wide, the stem few but long, longer than the inflorescence. Panicle usually ample and loose, has branches 3-6 cm. Flower spike 5-10 x 2-3,5 mm. Akene ellipsoid-ovoid, yellowish or greenish.
