Forewing with discrete, straight or slightly concave medial fascia;
Forewing costa (leading edge) pale orange-brown when freshly emerged;
No black dots on the wing margins;
Wings covered with fine white striae (fleck marks) aligned from costa to dorsum (front edge to trailing edge of the wings);
When freshly emerged, the ground colour is a rather dark jade green.

Adults recorded throughout the year, with peaks in April and September-October (as per figure 2, above).
Ecology

Found from sea level to 750m elevation in non urban habitats;
Larval hosts for the genus are listed by Holloway (Moths of Borneo).
Distribution in Hong Kong

Widespread: recorded throughout the New Territories and on the larger islands.
