previously known as Trigonoptila latimarginaria
found in Japan, the Korean Peninsula, Taiwan, Hong Kong and mainland China.
In Hong Kong, there is a high degree of seasonal variation with wet [WSF] and dry [DSF] season forms. Typical examples of WSF have well marked patterns and a fairly heavy melanin content. DSF individuals tend to be paler, but full melanic variants also have been observed during the dry season.
