Summary 3

This large dorid is found south of Santa Barbara. It has yellow rhinophores and gills, and has irregular brown blotches on its mantle. It feeds on sponges. The species is named for legendary Southern California/Baja California marine researcher Dave Mulliner. He is the founding president of the Western Society of Malacologists and is well known in the shell world.
