The Olive-sided Flycatcher (Contopus cooperi) is an insect eater of family Tyrannidae. It will often choose an obvious perch on a treetop from which to chase insects. This flycatcher is possessed of a drab grayish coloration except for a white throat and belly. Larger and darker than Western wood-pewee, which lacks white.
