Solidago odora, whose English name is sweet goldenrod, also referred to as anise-scented goldenrod or fragrant goldenrod is one of the approximately 100 species of the genus Solidago (goldenrods). The plant is native to North America, found from Veracruz to New Hampshire, and flowers from July through October.
