The gray tree frog is common here during the late summer months when they breed. They can change color slowly and need to have trees and moisture to survive. 2

The gray tree frog or gray treefrog (Hyla versicolor) is a species of small arboreal frog native to much of the eastern United States and southeastern Canada.
