Japanese Beautyberry (Callicarpa japonica) is a tree with purple berry fruits. The flowers can range from pink to white. This species is native to China, Japan, Korea, Ryukyu Islands, and Taiwan. It is cultivated as an ornamental tree, and it is very popular in gardens and parks.
