Range description 3

This species is endemic to the Cape Verde Islands, where it is widespread in the southern and eastern islands of the archipelago. Records exist from Sal, Boavista, Curral Velho and Sal Rei Islets, Maio, Santiago, Santa Maria Islet, and Fogo Island (Miralles et al. 2010). It has an estimated extent of occurrence of 2,035 km2 (Vasconcelos et al. 2013).
