Asclepias quadrifolia is a common forest-dwelling species of milkweed, commonly called four-leaved milkweed. It is found throughout the eastern United States but rarely noticed until it blooms. It is much smaller than other milkweeds with relatively few blooms. Its leaves are opposite but often clustered so closely they look whorled in groups of four.
