The Chickweed Geometer is a common moth found in open grassy areas, both day and night. It is mainly yellow, with pink stripes. I have seen multiple variations in wings shape, and the males have feathery antennae absent in the females. It is most often seen when it is flushes from grass, and can easily be caught with a net, though can be caught bare-handed as well.
