Kans grass (Saccharum spontaneum) (Hindi: काँस kām̥s, Oriya: କାଶତଣ୍ଡି kāśataṇḍi) is a grass native to South Asia. It is a perennial grass, growing up to three meters in height, with spreading rhizomatous roots.
