My House- 30 Meter Radius
I make many observations at my home, and the 30 meter radius covers my house, and my neighbors on each side plus the street in front and hillside in back. I expect to see some differences in the types of species that can be found in the undeveloped area, versus those found more frequently in and around human habitations.

Sap-feeding Beetles (Family Nitidulidae)Observer

Small brown beetles in oranges. Can be seen flying around, but you don't see them in fruit until you bang it on ground, then they come running out. They are present much of summer & fall, I think spring, also. Damage to fruit is a brown, mushy spot on one side of orange.
