WhatMountain Lion (Puma concolor)Observerdmr13DescriptionI was trail jogging south to north and it was crossing the trail west to east (from Brown Canyon area towards Sasabe Road). As it crossed the trail it turned back and we stared at each other so I know it was a mountain lion probably a female. I’ve seen a lion in this area two additional times, another in October 2022 and October 2021. These two latter lions I saw them walking a similar direction (west to east) but crossed Sasabe Road. They always come from Brown Canyon direction. |
