It's also very bold-- walked right up to me, descended the wall, over my feet to the opposite side. I presume female because of size, and there are usually juveniles running around in spring. |

Busy restructuring a nest from a previous generation hole made in a carved pine bear. Several females were observed taking their first flight of the year today and immediately making nests in the same holes they emerged from. This female gathered orange pollen from an unknown source to start her nest. |
