Description

Fairly sure this is the Smooth / Yellow Periwinkle. Definitely both smooth and yellow, fairly small (8 mm), and the guides describe it as intolerant of desiccation, and sure, enough, i found them in protected areas only, like under rocks and ledges.

We find them in the Ascophyllum bait boxes here in SF Bay, but as of yet, they haven't established outside of the east coast (or at least been detected).
