Description

Tons of these birds in the tree and the sky. I'm guessing Great Egrets? On the Anhinga Trail of Everglades NP.

Difficult to determine from photo, but Snowy Egrets have yellow feet, and Great Egrets yellow bills. Best way to determine between the two, other than size.

I'd seen a number of Great Egrets on the ground in the area, and I hadn't seen any Snowys, hence my guess it's Greats... but unfortunately, I had neither a good camera nor good binoculars at the time, so this is as good as it got for viewing them. =( I think my only hope for confirmation is to find out something like only one type of them is likely to flock in a tree.
