Thanks, I guess this moth's typical range is a bit too southern to be included in the new Peterson Field Guide to the moths of NE North America. Definitely a cool moth.

Kent, your moth shots are great. I have a close friend here in the Austin area, Dr. Chuck Sexton, who has really gotten big into moths. He submits a lot to BugGuide and has an extensive collection of Texas moth photos. He is not on iNat as yet, but hopefully will be sometimes soon. This is his profile on Bugguide.

Bugguide and moth photographers group are my go to resources beyond the Peterson field guide to NE North America. It would be great to have another moth expert on board INat. Jhooper has been an incredible help on INat this summer as I've gotten started into moths. Super gracious, helpful, and instructive. They are a fascinating, diverse group.
