malabar torrent frog n very rare.. tough to spot due to the color blending This is endemic to western ghats, ASL 600 mts, found only in monsoon.. but found in the winter, at 34 deg C and this unique frog.. can twist it's leg n walk.. like the way it folds its toes inside... as seen in the pic

Great observation, we searched for these at Agumbe during the monsoon and didnt find any.
