When I surveyed the county in '07 & '09, B. philenor would blast through occasionally all
my sites. McLaren and Strawberry Hill ( island in Stowe Lake/GG Park) would the only
sure places for this species. It's a jungle holdover, even it's host Aristolochia is a jungle holdover. It's got no rhyme or reason when it emerges; can stay in pupa for two years!
