Description

Large redwood, perhaps 80-100 years old. Large portion of top fell in storm in 1996. This tree has perhaps been the parent to dozens of younger trees in the wooded area.

Do you mean this species? Its the only member of the genus and the only other 'redwood' is giant sequoia which doesn't occur in Oregon
