Description

Found this Foxglove on a hot day at Mount Madonna County Park. It was 90+ degrees, at the end of the season. But the flower was in a heavily shaded area, and was doing well.

I actually do not know if this is a Digitalis purpurea, but I searched to see if it was in their database.

I think it is a digitalis. We have those in France too. Oh and that day, we saw white ones too.

Yeah, common garden escape around here. I often see it at Pt. Reyes.
