This juvenile Red-Tailed Hawk was originally spotted in the trees approximately 50 feet from the trail at Nisqually National Wildlife Reserve. It flew from this tree to another even closer to the trail and perched in a tree right by several Natural History students, turning to observe them every once in a while.
