Description
Found growing under Q. agrifolia. I've never seen one of these before so I am a bit loss to what it is exactly.
Nah, I think I was lucky to find this one. There was a lot of coral root, candy caps, and a russulas, but only two of these. Looking at the description on that link you provided and the other photos I believe you are correct. I like the edibility description, "Tastes like stale rope." Yummy, can't wait to get back and get me some stale rope mushrooms.
The data quality assessment is a summary of an observation's accuracy. All
