Description

I think this is a deer skull. It was in the middle of the road, the lower jaw was missing. There was still a tiny bit of flesh or rot on the skull.

It has the teeth of an herbivore.

More pictures would be helpful (especially if you have any of the front teeth or the teeth from the top with the skull flipped over). As far as I can guess from the hand for scale, it's probably too small for a deer.
