Description

When walking through Howarth park, I noticed some plant that brushed against my leg. It kinda tickled as it did, from the thin little flimsy spikes that stood out from the blossom. The soild was made up of dirt, dried leaves and sticks, and it was a nice warm day outside. Other plants laid around this one, so I guess it had some competition for water.

it seems a bit too upright with too many awns per head for bromus madritensis, though that is a really good guess. I think it is a hordeum, maybe H. murinum but I'm not sure.

Thanks for the help. You are probably right. I just looked it up, and found the one that came closest to what plant I had. But you are right that it does look like Hordeum.
