Ubiquitous here; and elsewhere I've lived in urban coastal california. When I was a young man doing garden work for a fussy neighbor I made the mistake of thinking that some of these were pelargoniums, and spared the hoe... drawing a sharp rebuke for my lack of penetration.
The flowers are few, inconspicuous and tardy on this vigorous plant.
