Description

After turning a corner onto a less popular trail, I came upon two white-tailed kites hunting in a field of bright yellow wildflowers. They have a beautiful flight pattern in which they flutter their wings rapidly while hovering in one place, then drop straight down to the ground, and swoop back up again.
