Description

Argiope trifasciata. Molino Basin, Santa Catalina Mountains, Pima County, Arizona. USA. 27 October 2007.

Flowering desert broom, Baccharis sarothroides, attracts a lot of foraging insects, so it is a great place for spiders to build their nets.
