Description

A bit ectopic -- not listed in the Jepson Manual, or subsequent notes, as being found in the Mojave (Antelope Valley), & nearest herbarium specimens are in the foothills nearby. But pretty sure I've got the ID right -- finally! (Originally mis-ID'ed as Yellowthroat). Looks right, and supposedly the puffy-looking calyx (ring of sepals around base of flower) is distinctive.
