Female had made a web in a storage unit. She was tending 5 egg sacs. Some hatchlings had emerged and were staying close to the female. Hatchlings looked to be 2nd instar.

Description

Female in her cobweb in the eave of a house.

I took the other two pictures--same location, but in the garage on June 19. The female had placed egg sacs on a cat carrier. In the second pic you can see the female in her web in the corner of the garage. The third pic shows 1st or 2nd instar spiderlings.

Description

Leucauge venusta, the orchard spider, is a tetragnathid orb-weaver.
This one was observed near the lake in a wooded area of South Carolina. Photos show dorsal and ventral views respectively.
