With recent flooding, wild rainbow trout have started migrating over the fence from the private section. Rainbows accounted for over 50% of the fish caught on a recent outing. In previous years, the numbers seemed to favor the wild brown trout. It will be interesting to see if the rainbows can establish a stronger hold on the public section in years to come.
