Description
after the terrible freeze, we checked our 18 Bluebird boxes. only two had nests built already. In one of those two, there were two dead bluebirds. both appeared to be male? This was the only house with dead birds. My guess is that we had 100% mortality of bluebirds in this part of Texas due to cold and starvation. We can only hope that some come up late from Mexico.
