I found the Snowberry at 17:04 while walking along the trail in Strawberry Canyon. It was a pretty large bush of Snowberry. It has parallel, rounded leaves, and white berry fruit.

This species was found on a log after hiking off trail in Strawberry Canyon at 17:20. It flew away from the log and flew away when I approached it.But it flew back and landed on the log after a few seconds.

Western Sword Fern (Polystichum munitum)Observer

I found the sword fern at 16:34 after hiking up a trail in Strawberry Canyon on a sunny day. It was found right next to a trail surrounded by blackberry bushes. There were spores forming under the leaves.
