Observations by annaleegreusel

I thought it was a mouse at first but further research suggested that it was a wood/pack rat. it was larger than the average mouse being about the same size as my palm, and it was a dun brown color. it was living in the cave i was researching, its nest was in a relatively small room, towards the opening of the cave. it had filled it's 'area' with small sticks and leaves, i think that the area was formerly a larger animal's lair and that the pack rat had moved in later.
