I don't like finding these fellows right at my back door - this was photographed not two meters from my back door. I get lots of frogs on my windows at night, and they attracts these guys and the red-bellied black - both very dangerous snakes - indeed, this species is regarded as the second most venomous snake species in the world (Wikipedia). I guess I will be watching where I put my feet for the next few days until the cooler weather sends them underground.
