Observed at approximately 10:41 AM on September 11th, 2015. Observed at Harlaxton Manor. Very small, low lying plant life. Leaves clustered in groups of 3-4. Leaves have serrated edges, top of leaves are slightly fuzzy.

Observed at approximately on November 19th at approximately 11:03 AM. Observed in the woods surrounding Harlaxton Manor. Large mushroom growing on a fallen tree. White on underside, reddish-Brown on the top. Spores present but as yet not released.

Common Flower Flies (Genus Syrphus)Observer

Observed at approximately 10:36 AM. Observed at Harlaxton Manor Ground. This observation is for the insects on the flowers, not the flowers themselves. They appear to be some kind of bee, with traditional black and yellow striped markings. About 3-5 Centimetres in length. Quite a few of them were in the area.

Observed at approximately 10:40 AM. Observed at Harlaxton Manor Ground. Some sort of ivy-like plant covering a fair amount of ground. Leaves have 5-7 serrated lobes. Most of the leaves are light green, but many of them have become discolored to a reddish brown.

Observed at approximately 10:47 AM. Observed at Harlaxton Manor Ground. Prominent Orange-Red flowers which attracted many bees. Very low lying amongst other grasses and wildflowers. Very few leaves or other aspects.

Observed at approximately 10:46 AM. Observed at Harlaxton Manor Ground. Very bright pink colored flowers. A few plants of this species were scattered around the field. Long single lobe leaves, split by prominent lighter vein. Lightly serrated edges of leaves. Stems are a reddish color.

Observed at approximately 10:52 AM. Observed at Harlaxton Manor Ground. Prominent bright red flowers with lighter white/yellow centers. Leaves and the rest of the plant seem to be dying for some reason. Plant with rather thick stalk extending 4-5 feet up into the air.

Observed at approximately 10:53 AM. Observed at Harlaxton Manor Ground. Large tree-like plant. Very distinctive yellow tinted needles. Individual needles have a sort of waxy coating. Found just on the outskirts of the garden, so it is possible that it originated from there.

Observed at approximately 11:11 AM. Observed at Harlaxton Manor Ground. Species was just off the edge of bridge over the lake. Featured prominent black/blue berries, which were in various states of development. Fairly sizeable plant, with dark green serrated leaves.

Observed at Harlaxton Manor Ground on 3 September 2015. Approximately 10:40. Small insect reminiscent of a lady bug, but with black, orange, and white markings on the shell. Found on top of leaf, very little motion or activity.

Observed at Harlaxton Manor on 3 September 2015. Approximately 10:57. Very short and shrub-like. Leaves clustered in groups of 5-7 around central protruding pods which feature very small fuzzy bulbs. Pods seem to extend further from plant with maturation. Leaves are in alternate, have dark green very waxy surface, with a prominent light vein splitting each leaf.

Common Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna)Observer

Observed at Harlaxton Manor Grounds on 3 September 2015. Approximately 10:36. Branches extended nearly from the base of the plant all the way to the top. Leave coverage very thick giving it a shrub-like quality. Very distinctive red berries clustered throughout. Occasional thorns. Leaves light green with waxy surface, serrated edges, and 3 main lobes.
