Description

A tree which was surrounded by dense shrubs. It had long needles that were clumped into twos. The bark was a grey brown and rough. It was spindly and not very tall.

Description

A shrub that had red berries in clumps. Thorns covered the branches, which were alternating. The bark of the shrub was white and soft and on new growth was red.

Description

It was a small tree or a large shrub. It had greyish red peeling bark. The branches had small thorns and were alternating. We noticed a few dried berries attached to the end of the branches.

Description

It is approx. 20 metres tall. At the base it has deeply grey furrowed bark, further up the tree the bark became white in colour and smooth. The branches were alternating and budding.
